• Stand Off With Armed Suspect Ends Peacefully In Albany (kykn.com) — A late-morning police standoff in downtown Albany ended safely after officers and the Linn Benton Regional SWAT Team took a wanted man into custody near the Linn County Courthouse on SW 4th Avenue. Streets, Albany City Hall, and nearby businesses were locked down for several hours before reopening, and no members of the public or law enforcement were seriously hurt.
