⢠Bandon City Council approves Separation Agreement with City Manager Torrey Contreras (nbc16.com) ā Bandonās city council has unanimously approved a separation agreement with City Manager Torrey Contreras, ending his tenure after more than a month on paid administrative leave. Officials have not yet released the agreementās terms or findings from a workplace investigation, but the mayor highlighted his role in economic development and major city projects while residents await more details through pending public records requests.

⢠Coos County Historical Society to host 'Winter Lake to the Sea' heritage bus tour (kcby.com) ā History lovers will have a chance to visit the Bandon History Museum as part of a Coos County Historical Society bus tour on August 1. The daylong āWinter Lake to the Seaā trip includes stops from Winter Lake to Bullards Beach and Coquille Point, with lunch, stories about South Coast history, and proceeds supporting the Coos History Museum.
