BEAVERTON, OR — After eluding police for months, Beaverton's 'Big Nose Burglar' was arrested Aug. 10 at a motel in Gresham, according to Beaverton police spokesman Mike Rowe.

Cody Orion Runyon, 28, was lodged at the Washington County Jail on six counts of first degree burglary, Rowe said. His bail is set at $5,000.

According to Rowe, information from a partner agency that was also looking for a suspect matching Runyon's description helped both law enforcement teams connect the dots and identify Runyon, specifically, as the culprit behind a slew of burglaries in the area.

On Thursday, Aug. 10, Beaverton police and others reportedly located Runyon at a Gresham motel, where a warrant was then served to search his vehicle. In Runyon's car police found items connected to the burglaries, Rowe said.
