A lick mat is a flat mat with little ridges. You spread soft food on it, and she licks it off slowly. Licking can feel soothing for many dogs. A snuffle mat is good for using her nose and turning a meal into a game. Many owners like having one of each. Rinse lick mats after each use, and shake out and wash snuffle mats often.
