• Top Workplaces 2026: 44 midsize Oregon and SW Washington employers honored (oregonlive.com) — Two Beaverton-based employers, Carr Auto Group and the USTA Pacific Northwest Section, have been named among the top midsize workplaces in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The list, based on employee surveys, showcases 44 organizations across many industries and offers a snapshot of strong regional employers that Beaverton residents might work for or do business with.
   

• Banks High School gets $112,529 state grant for new welding equipment (bankspost.com) — Banks High School just landed a six-figure state grant to overhaul its welding and shop equipment, and Beaverton School District also received funding through the same Oregon Department of Education program. The new gear will bring Banks' agriculture and welding classes up to industry standards and expand dual-credit and credential opportunities for students across Washington County.
