ā¢ Port of Coos Bay to stop operating Oregon's state dredging vessels (klcc.org) ā Port of Coos Bay leaders are ending their role operating Oregonās state dredging vessels so Charleston Marinaās small maintenance crew can finally focus on long-delayed local repairs. After finishing one last dredging job in Garibaldi this winter, nearly half the marina staff will no longer be sent away for months, allowing more attention to Coos Bayās own docks, pilings, electrical work, and sediment testing needs.
