• Pilot injured after plane crashes northeast of Cottage Grove (idahostatesman.com) — A small plane crashed Sunday on Sears Road northeast of Cottage Grove, leaving the pilot with minor injuries but no other reported casualties. South Lane Fire and Rescue responded quickly, treated the pilot at the scene, and the National Transportation Safety Board is now investigating what caused the south Lane County crash.
