• Gervais will turn bus donation into mobile Emergency Operations Center (heraldpioneer.com) — Gervais is converting a donated Cherriots transit bus into a mobile Emergency Operations Center, giving the city a backup hub if city hall or other facilities are unusable. The 35-foot bus will support incident command, communications, and disaster coordination, and could also assist neighboring Mid-Willamette Valley communities during major emergencies.
