Youth fees are capped at $30 per family, with discounted Cloverbud rates, and livestock participants must also register with the Youth Livestock Auction by early January.

Grants Pass Backs Parker's Place Village as Shelter Works to Resolve Construction, Staffing and Funding Concerns (grantspasstribune.com) — Parker’s Place Village remains a key 150-bed homeless shelter in Grants Pass as the city issues a support letter while still reviewing construction, staffing, and financial compliance. Operators are racing to finish fencing and stormwater work by November 13, secure funding for permanent bathrooms and showers, and line up service providers so the shelter can keep meeting local needs long term.

Five Lane County boys soccer teams advance to second-round playoff games (lookouteugene-springfield.com) — Grants Pass High’s boys soccer team heads to Eugene as the No. 23 seed to face undefeated South Eugene in the 6A state playoffs, their third straight road game. The Cavemen just upset a higher seed and are being taken seriously by South Eugene’s coach, with the winner advancing to face either Cleveland or South Medford later this week.
   

4. Congressman Cliff Bentz highlights accomplishments and priorities (grantspasstribune.com) — Congressman Cliff Bentz recently visited Grants Pass to discuss how federal energy, healthcare, and natural resource policies affect Southern and Eastern Oregon communities. He highlighted efforts to lower power and healthcare costs, expand rural hospital funding, and ensure local areas share in revenue from critical mineral projects, stressing that residents should benefit directly from the region’s natural assets.
