• High school students in Grants Pass raise over $10,000 for Sparrow Clubs (kdrv.com) — Students at Grants Pass High School recently raised over $10,000 and logged more than 1,900 service hours to support a 7-year-old boy through Sparrow Clubs. Their events, from a basketball game to a father-daughter dance, left many teens feeling proud of their school and the compassion in the Grants Pass community.
   

• From Colony to Couch: Fifi Waits for Her Forever Home (grantspasstribune.com) — An affectionate young cat named Fifi is waiting for adoption through the Josephine County animal shelter, which serves the Grants Pass area. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and litter-box trained, with an adoption fee of $95. Residents can call the shelter, walk in, or browse other adoptable pets online to see if Fifi is still available.
