Gresham Man Pleads Guilty to Groping Teen on Plane
Chad Cameron Camp admitted to assaulting a 13-year-old on a flight from Dallas to Portland last June.

A Gresham man who was arrested last June after a teen said he had sexually assaulted her as they were both on a plane from Dallas to Portland has pleaded guilty. Chad Cameron Camp, 26, will be sentenced in May.
Camp was in federal court in Portland on Thursday pleading guilty to charges of Assault with Intent to Commit Abusive Sexual Contact of a Minor and Indecent Sexual Proposal to a Minor.
The 13-year-old girl had been flying unaccompanied when Camp was seated next to her. He had had several drinks before getting on the plane and proceeded to grope the teen.

She would tell police the experience left her feeling frightened and trapped.
The teen's family has filed a $10 million lawsuit against American Airline saying that they did not do everything they could have to protect her.
