• 2nd inmate dies at Multnomah County jail this week (oregonlive.com) — Gresham residents should know that local police are helping investigate a second in-custody death this week at Multnomah County's Inverness Jail, after a 48-year-old man suffered a fatal medical emergency. Authorities say the deaths are unrelated and not tied to force, drugs, or suicide, and the East County Major Crimes Team, including Gresham Police, is reviewing video and interviewing witnesses.
