• Multiple dead, officer wounded in Sandy shooting Sunday evening (opb.org) — Happy Valley police were among several agencies responding to a deadly domestic disturbance in Sandy on Sunday that left at least three people dead and a Sandy officer wounded. Authorities say the suspect surrendered after an hourslong standoff, there is no ongoing threat to the public, and a regional major crimes team is now investigating what led to the violence.
