Gaiety Hollow

The Lord &amp; Schryver Conservancy invites the public to experience the beauty and history of Gaiety Hollow during the 2026 Open Gardens season at the historic home and garden of pioneering landscape architects Elizabeth Lord and Edith Schryver.
Open Gardens will take place Wednesdays from May through September from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., along with select Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gaiety Hollow, located at 545 Mission Street SE in Salem. On Saturday, May 30 the dynamic Americana music group Constant Billy will perform on the Garden Terrace. Admission is free, but donations toward the care and preservation of Gaiety Hollow are greatly appreciated.

Join premier Grateful Dead tribute band, Caught Dead Handed, for an all-ages show at Elysium Botanicals Wines &amp; Vineyard on Saturday, May 30th at 2pm. This special afternoon performance is the perfect chance to gather the whole family, take in the scenic beauty of this stunning venue, and celebrate the timeless music of the Grateful Dead. At this show, we will take time to honor the memory of our beloved friend and bandmate, Stevie, who passed away in April. We will celebrate his spirit and the lasting impact he had on our band and community.
