Lake Oswego High School Gets New Principal

Rollin Dickinson will take over for Cindy Schubert on July 1.

Lake Oswego High School has a new principal.

Rollin Dickinson, currently the assistant principal at Lakeridge High School, will take over on July 1.

"His demonstration of the key attributes of successful leadership, and his understanding of curriculum and instruction will well-serve the LOHS community, and will perpetuate the legacy of success that is embedded in the culture of our high schools," said Lake Oswego School District Superintendent Heather Beck.

He follows Cindy Schubert, who announced she was resigning last week.

Dickinson has been assistant principal since 2013.

Before that he was chair of the English department at Lakeridge.

He has been with the Lake Oswego School District since 2007.

He graduated from Pomona College and got his masters from the University of North Carolina.
