After finishing sixth in the Three Rivers League last year, the Lakers return multiple all-league players and will battle familiar rivals Lakeridge and West Linn in a tightly contested conference race. 
• Rep. Salinas Introduces Bipartisan Bill to Fund Mental Health Support for First Responders (house.gov) — A new bipartisan bill backing mental health support for first responders was unveiled at Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue's Station 39 in Lake Oswego, highlighting local ties to a national effort. Rep. Andrea Salinas' Lifeline for First Responders Act would create the first federal grant program dedicated to mental health services for firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers nationwide, including suicide prevention, counseling, and family support.
