• Strawberry Festival to reveal new strawberry shortcake float (sweethomenews.com) — Lebanon’s iconic Strawberry Festival is unveiling a fully rebuilt World’s Largest Strawberry Shortcake float during Saturday’s Grand Parade on Main Street. Local businesses and volunteers teamed up on the restoration, and residents are invited to see the debut and enjoy free shortcake slices at the festival grounds afterward.
   

• ‘Hard work' pays off in state track titles for Warriors (lebanonlocalnews.com) — Lebanon track fans have plenty to cheer about after Cade Weber captured the 400-meter state title and then anchored the Warriors’ 4×400 relay to another championship at Hayward Field.
