• Police investigating series of burglaries at Oregon City food cart pod (kptv.com) — Multiple food carts at Corner 14 in Oregon City were broken into early Sunday, with one owner's security cameras capturing a suspect police say also hit two neighboring carts. Oregon City Police are asking anyone who recognizes the man or has information to call their tip line and reference the listed case number, as cart owners worry he may return.
   

• Fired NICU doctors push for changes inside Asante leadership (rv-times.com) — An Oregon City ophthalmologist with a large online following is amplifying concerns about Asante's decision to replace nine longtime NICU doctors in Medford with temporary staff, after families reported inconsistent care for fragile newborns. The fired physicians have launched a "Babies First" Facebook group to push for transparency and safer staffing, while Asante defends its transition plan and ongoing recruitment efforts.
