Daimler Layoffs Coming to Swan Island
Company announces 170 at the Western Star factory will lose their jobs though they hope it will be temporary.

Nearly 200 people at Daimler's Western Star factory on Swan Island are going to lose their jobs.
The company announced Monday that 170 people at the factory will be among 1,240 being laid off.
Daimler says it is the result of a downturn in long-haul trucks but they hope once the downturn reverses, they will able to bring some of those workers back.
