KKK Propaganda Found In Oregon High School Restroom
Portland Public Schools officials said the message, printed on a sticker, was found in the boys restroom at Roosevelt High School Tuesday.

PORTLAND, OR — A student at Portland's Roosevelt High School on Tuesday reportedly found a sticker in the boys' bathroom that appears to promote the Ku Klux Klan, according to Portland Public Schools spokesman Dave Northfield.

The sticker, said to be 3-inches wide and 3-inches tall, was seen by only one senior student, who has since been interviewed by school officials. KATU News also spoke with the student, who requested anonymity.
"I kind of had to do a double take for a second," the student reportedly told KATU. "Hopefully they get caught and rightfully, you know, suspended for a little bit at the least because honestly, I think this is pretty bad."

School officials are reviewing surveillance camera footage from outside the restroom, Northfield said, noting the Roosevelt High School community and Portland Public Schools administration stand together in "absolute rejection of this type of speech."
"This hateful image is appalling and offensive, and has no place at Roosevelt High School or at any other Portland Public School," Roosevelt Principal Filip Hristic said in a statement. "We are actively investigating how this wound up in a boys' bathroom at school this morning. We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe environment for every one of our students. This is particularly hurtful to our African American students, for whom this image is a symbol of hatred and violence."
