Soul'd Out Music Festival
Great area music festival. And while some shows are sold out, many are not and if it's not sold out, it's worth checking out Soul'd Out.
It's taking place at several venues at different times. Check out the website at souldoutfestival.com
Orchid Show
Certainly not saying you should be an orchid thief but a drop by this show you'll see what could drive someone in that direction.
The beauty of these mysterious, intriguing plants will be on display at The Ambridge Event Center at 1333 Northeast Martin Luther King Jr, Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $7.
Rose City Sing-Off
It is Rose Festival Season and this is one of the big, early events. Organizers call it the "premier" A cappella competition for high school singers in the Northwest. It is Saturday starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Imago Dei Community center at 1302 Ankeny. Participants include groups from Westview High School, Wilson High School, Liberty High School, and Wilsonville High School.
