Local leaders hope the project will ease Prinevilleās tight rental market and stabilize prices.

Local leaders highlight the Aquifer Storage and Recovery system, Tom McCall Industrial Park projects, and the City of Prineville Railway as key tools for attracting employers while aiming to keep growth balanced and livable for residents.

3. Prideville Festival Returns to Prineville with "Small Town, Big Pride" Celebration - The Source - Bend, Oregon (bendsource.com) ā Prineville residents can look forward to the 6th Annual Prideville Festival on Sunday, June 28, at Pioneer Park, a free, family-friendly celebration from noon to 5 p.m. The āSmall Town, Big Prideā event will feature local vendors, performances, interactive activities, and resources that highlight inclusion and LGBTQIA+ visibility in Crook County. Organizers are still welcoming volunteers, sponsors, and participants online.

Invasive mussel found dead at Prineville Reservoir in Central Oregon (rv-times.com) ā A dead invasive quagga mussel was recently discovered at Prineville Reservoir, prompting intensive testing and monitoring but, so far, no signs of an established infestation. State and university crews have inspected docks, shorelines, restrooms, boats, and water samples, all coming back negative. Agencies are keeping up aggressive surveillance to protect Central Oregon waterways that many Prineville residents rely on.
