• Rogue River man sentenced to eight years in prison for hit-and-run incident (youroregonnews.com) — A 41-year-old Rogue River resident has been sentenced to eight years in prison and three years of post-prison supervision after a jury convicted him of multiple charges stemming from a serious hit-and-run crash near Wimer. Prosecutors say he fled the scene, lied to investigators, and had a long history of driving offenses, and he’s also facing a separate firearm charge from 2025.

The Honkers now sit one game back in the Southern Oregon Conference and could lock up a postseason berth with a strong series finish against Rogue River this week.
