Her visit highlighted improvements at Meinig Memorial Park, the new Cedar Park and AntFarm Café & Bakery, along with more than $1.8 million she's working to secure for Sandy's wastewater pipeline and pipe repairs. 
• Centennial volleyball wins five-set 'blockbuster' over Sandy (theoutlookonline.com) — Sandy volleyball fans just watched a thriller, as Centennial edged the Pioneers 3–2 in a five‑set showdown in Sandy, with only seven total points separating the teams. Sandy's Lena Smith led a strong local performance, and the article already circles a must‑see rematch when Centennial hosts Sandy on Thursday, Oct. 22.
