Mobile speed cameras to make rounds in Sherwood residential, school zones (youroregonnews.com) — Drivers in Sherwood should prepare for new mobile speed cameras now being installed in residential areas and school zones, starting with Oregon Street near Hall Street. After a warning-only grace period through June 22, citations will be issued for going 11 mph or more over the limit in neighborhoods, with even steeper fines for speeding in school zones.

• State Softball: Sherwood and West Linn advance to state championship game (valleytimes.news) — Sherwood High’s softball team is headed back to the 6A state championship after a dominant 12-2 home win over Glencoe, fueled by a big first inning and 15-hit attack. The Bowmen will defend their title against top-seeded West Linn on June 6 at Jane Sanders Stadium in Eugene, aiming for a second straight state crown.
