• Firefighters Rescue Baby Goat from OR Quarry (fireengineering.com) — A specialized technical rescue team from Tigard helped save a baby goat that tumbled more than 60 feet down a quarry off Farmington Road, using rope skills to guide it back up a steep hillside. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue crews, along with a veterinarian and the goat’s mother, worked patiently until the kid climbed to safety and was reunited with its family.
