• Astoria senior one of six scholarship recipients (seasidesignal.com) — A Waldport High School senior, Kiana Cynthia McNeil, has earned one of two top $10,000 scholarships from OnPoint Community Credit Union’s statewide Scholar Program, recognizing her among six standout Oregon seniors. The program, run with the Oregon School Activities Association, has awarded more than $180,000 since 2019 to support graduates’ college goals.
