📰 News we're reading
• Forest manager closes access or privately leases some of its 18,000 acres of property in Lincoln County • Lincoln Chronicle (lincolnchronicle.org) — Residents just north of Newport are losing longtime walking and biking access as Manulife closes or leases portions of its 18,000 Lincoln County acres, including land by Beverly Beach. While the story centers there, your Yachats-area forests are part of the same ownership and evolving access program, meaning future recreation options and hunting access around south Lincoln County could also change.
