The $17.7 million redevelopment brings a major new affordable housing complex to the area.

ABINGTON, PA — The completion of the $17.7 million Crest Manor redevelopment project brings a major new affordable housing complex to the area.
A grand opening was held to celebrate the new complex, located on 2231 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday. Members of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners and other local leaders were in attendance to commemorate the opening.
Originally built in 1963 by the Montgomery County Housing Authority (MCHA), Crest Manor received critical functional and aesthetic improvements. MCHA partnered with Pennrose Properties, LLC to redevelop and revitalize the community, and Pennrose Management Company to provide professional management oversight.
