Using the victim’s keys, the suspects then stole her vehicle and fled south on Old York Road in the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not injured.

The investigation revealed that the suspects had arrived in a Nissan Rougue, which had just been carjacked an hour earlier in the Olney section of Philadelphia, police said.

The stolen vehicle was quickly observed by police officers traveling south on Old York Road, and officers were able to follow the vehicle into Philadelphia.

Both suspects crashed the vehicle in the 5200 block of Bingham Street and fled on foot.

Abington and Philadelphia Police Officers began searching the area where the suspects fled to, along the Tacony Creek Trail.

While attempting to elude capture, the suspects attempted to carjack a third vehicle on Tabor Avenue.

The suspects were eventually apprehended after they were observed hiding in thick brush along the trail. Both suspects were arrested without incident.
