Abington Man Charged With 100 Felony Counts of Child Porn: DA
An Abington man had 130 images of prepubescent girls engaged in sexual acts on his home computer and phone, the DA said.

ABINGTON, PA -- An Abington man has been arrested on more than 100 felony counts of child pornography, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Friday.
Daniel J. Flannery, 29, was first investigated when a tip came through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, authorities said. A chat network called "Chatstep" contacted authorities to notify them of child pornography.
Police then traced the uploaded image back to Flannery's Abington residence.

The DA said that a forensic examination of Flannery's computer and cell phone uncovered more than 130 images of prepubescent girls engaged in sexual acts.
Flannery faces five felony counts of sexual abuse of children (dissemination of media) and 100 felony counts of sexual abuse of children (possession), among other charges.

A preliminary hearing is set for December 23.
