Abington Middle School Threat Unsubstantiated: Police

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Abington Township Police Department reported Tuesday afternoon that a student had made a threat against Abington Middle School.

Police and school staff investigated the threat and determined that the student had made up a rumor.

Since the news of the threat was spread around the school community, Abington Police wanted to alert families that there was no actual threat and students could attend the middle school without issue.

The school administration is addressing the student responsible for the rumor, police said.
