Abington Schools Dismissing Early Due To Power Outages

ABINGTON, PA — Due to power outages, Abington School District will dismiss students early on Monday.

The Senior High will dismiss at 1:15 p.m., and the Junior High at 1:45 p.m., the district announced at around 12:45 p.m.

The early dismissals apply only to the Senior and Junior High Schools. All other schools will dismiss at the regularly scheduled time.

Powerful wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour knocked down trees and power lines, leading to more than 8,000 power outages across Montgomery County.
