Police said that K9 Dylan served in the Cheltenham Township Police Department from 2016 to 2025, alongside his devoted partner, retired Police Officer Ed Farrell.

Throughout his distinguished career, K9 Dylan played a vital role in numerous searches, helping to apprehend many suspects and making a lasting impact on the department and community he served, police said.

"More than his service, Dylan was a loyal partner, a protector, and a beloved member of the Farrell family," police said. "Thank you for your dedication, bravery, and unwavering service. Rest easy—you have earned it."
