EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A wave of festivals will wash over the Philadelphia region now that the first weekend of June is here and the official start of summer begins later this month.
One festival is carrying on a tradition that goes back over 100 years while another festival returns — with fireworks —after a year away.
These are some events planned this weekend in eastern Montgomery County and the Philly region:
The annual June Fete Fair — which includes a Horse & Pony Show — runs through Sunday at the fairgrounds at 2990 Edge Hill Road in Huntingdon Valley. (Read More)

Horsham Day is returning after taking a year off for the construction of the Miracle League Field. The township's biggest event of the year takes place on Saturday. (Read More)

The Crooked Eye Brewery in Hatboro will host a fundraiser on from 2-7 p.m. on Sunday for the Warminster Food Bank. There will be music from local bands, a 50/50 raffle drawing, an Eagles season tickets raffle, and more. Crooked Eye Brewery is located at 13 E. Montgomery Ave. The first 40 donors with a large bag of groceries weighing 12lbs or more will receive a $10 gift certificate for Silvio's Deli.Click here to learn more

West Main Street will be shut down on Saturday for Lansdale Day. Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. Local food, a live DJ, entertainment, vendors, and various other community activities highlight the event. (Read More)

The ninth Annual Ales & Petals/ Cars & Motorcycles of England car show takes place at the Hope Lodge in Fort Washington from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
