Anti-Semitic Flyers Posted In Eastern Montco: Officials

The Abington Township Human Relations Commission said flyers promoting hate were recently found on car windows.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Flyers promoting hate have been found on car windows in the parking lot of an area apartment complex, officials said.

The Abington Township Human Relations Commission discussed the findings of the flyers in a statement and a 3-minute video on Tuesday. Watch the video here.

"We are disheartened to report an incident of anti-Semitic and white supremacist activity in our community," the commission said in its statement. "The flyers call for harmful and divisive action and even promote an anti-Semitic film from 2017."

The commission said the "unsettling event" is not isolated.

Similar flyers appeared last year in Abington, Upper Dublin, and Cheltenham, the commission stated.

"Despite the lack of news coverage and identifiable footage from security cameras, we must stand together against such acts of hate," the commission said. "Please stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities. Report, respond, and support each other in these situations. Let's continue to foster a community of unity and respect."

Last month, feces was left at a World War II veteran's Rockledge home.

The Rockledge Police Department was investigating the hate crime against the World War II veteran that may be linked to pro-American, and/or pro-Israel yard signs posted at the man's house.

Police said the feces was found directly in front of the entrance door.
