Ardsley Park Closing For Playground Upgrades
The park is one of four in Abington Township where upgrades and plans for improvements are underway.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Playgrounds seem to be the name of the game with several projects underway or in discussion in the township.
The latest of four projects began on Tuesday with work starting to remove the existing playground at Ardsley Park to make way for the installation of a new playground.
Removal of old playground equipment will take place from Tuesday through Nov. 29 with the installation of new equipment starting on Dec. 2, officials said.

Officials said the installation should take about two weeks.

The playground will remain closed from Tuesday through the end of the installation.
The project is one of four involving township parks over the past several months.
