Jarrett Park Playground Upgrades Planned
Rockledge Borough held its first meeting Tuesday with residents to discuss plans to make the playground all-inclusive and ADA-compliant.

ROCKLEDGE BOROUGH, PA —The borough is making plans to update Jarrett Park.
Borough officials held the first in a series of meetings Tuesday to discuss plans for upgrading the park's playground.
"We want to thank all the residents that showed up, it was a full house," officials said in a Facebook post. "They had some great ideas and it definitely was a good start."

Plans include an all-ages-inclusive playground, replacing fencing with tree lines with visibility from the street, and replacing the building for summer camps, meetings, classes, and rentals.

There are also plans to keep the sledding lane open as it is now and a plan for rainwater runoff.
The presentation will have pictures of ideas, and not necessarily what will be the finished project.
Officials will provide updates on the borough's website for the next meeting date.
The borough wants to make the Jarrett Playground compliant with the American Disabilities Act.
