A building fire in Hatboro is under investigation. And some new pickleball courts are coming.

EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —A building fire is under investigation in Hatboro. And PECO will launch a major construction project early next month on Warminster Road.

Building Fire Under Investigation In Hatboro

A building fire is under investigation by the Hatboro Fire Marshal. The fire was reported in a building along York and Byberry roads. The Enterprise Fire Company, Hatboro Police, and mutual aid companies assisted. Borough officials reported that all occupants and pets were accounted for and that the Red Cross helped displaced tenants.

Montco Town Sees Dozens Of Vehicle Break-Ins Within 2 Hours: Police

A rash of vehicle break-ins in one Montgomery County town has left residents and law enforcement reeling and warning the public to take additional precautions. Police in Cheltenham Township said that 35 vehicles were smashed into in a period of less than two hours on Sunday, June 16. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Construction On Warminster Road To Continue Through October

Additional traffic is possible on a stretch of Warminster Road as construction work gets underway this summer. PECO is installing new underground gas pipes in the area. Work will impact Warminster Road from Byberry Road to Tanner Avenue. It will take place each weekday from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m.

New Indoor Pickleball Court To Open In Hatboro

A new facility for pickleball, a mini-paddle activity that is played on 44-foot long courts, will open up in Hatboro this summer, one of two new locations opening in Montgomery County. The new indoor facility will be located on 330 S. Warminster Road. (Read this Patch story for more details.)
