'Crown of Comfort Food' Calling It Quits In Elkins Park
Royal Zarasa is shutting its doors Saturday on Township Line Road after three years in operation.

ELKINS PARK, PA —"The Crown of Comfort Food" is calling it quits.
Royal Zarasa, which dished out comfort soul food at its restaurant on 411 Township Line Rd., is closing its doors for good on Saturday.
Terrance and Tiffany Hopkins-Dei opened Royal Zarasa in July 2021 after spending years operating a food truck in Philadelphia.

Royal Zarasa said on its Facebook page that its last day of service would be Saturday. No reason was given for the closure.
The restaurant featured such soul food as turkey wings, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, yams, and fish platters, among other menu items.

It was unknown whether Royal Zarasa's food truck would remain in operation. The business had been accepting bookings for spring and summer.
