Election 2024: Races Set For November In Eastern Montco
Candidates in the Democratic and Republican parties will face each other in November following Tuesday's primary election.
EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —The races are now set.
Following Tuesday's primary election, the Democratic and Republican candidates who ran uncontested will now square off in the November general election.
The Montgomery County Board of Elections provided an update early Wednesday morning on some general tallies.

The board stated that there were:
- 89,783 in-person ballots counted
- 426 precincts reporting
- 60,408 mail-in and absentee ballots returned
- 58,949 mail-in and absentee ballots counted
- No provisional ballots have been counted yet
- No military ballots have been counted yet

153rd Legislative District
- Democrat Ben Sanchez —8,697 votes
- Republican Joseph J. Rooney —3,115 votes
