Fight At Abington High Could Be Tied To Local Teen's Shooting Death
Eight students were arrested after a fight at Abington Senior High School Thursday. The fight could be tied to Keivon Abraham's death.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The large fight at Abington Senior High School that led to eight students being charged could be tied to the shooting death of a local teenager.
According to Abington Township Police, the fight broke out at about 11:29 a.m. Thursday in the high school.
After it was broken up, eight teens were arrests and charged with riot and simple assault, police said.

Action News and Fox 29 report the fight could be connected to the death of Keivon Abraham.
Abraham, 16, was shot and killed in North Philadelphia in late May.

The Abington Senior High School student was found with a gunshot wound to his head the morning of May 29 on the 2400 block of North Clarion Street.
Abington Police Chief Patrick Molloy said his department has been dealing with two groups of teens over the past several months.
Those groups have been involved in altercations and "other crimes," he told Action News.
Police said they are still investigating the fight and that more charges could be filed against other people involved.
