Flyers Promoting KKK Distributed In Montgomery County Town
It's not the first time these types of flyers have been found in the local area.

ABINGTON, PA — Authorities are investigating after numerous flyers promoting racism and the KKK were distributed in the township.
Police said the flyers were found in the Meadowbrook section of the township on Saturday.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, an Abington native and former Montgomery County Commissioner, issued a statement on the incident.

"Hate has no place in our communities and I am angered by the content of this literature," Shapiro said. "I know It does not reflect the views of the people of Pennsylvania and, as an Abington resident and Pennsylvania’s Attorney General, I am grateful to Chief Molloy and his outstanding local law enforcement team for swiftly taking appropriate action to address this matter. My office will continue to support the Abington PD as needed."
Chief Molloy said he recognized that such speech, as represented in the flyers, is protected by the 1st Amendment. He made similar remarks when addressing the community following reports of an armed man at large in the area trying to lure residents into a debate about guns.

This is not an isolated incident. Similar flyers were found in Abington in September, and in Upper Dublin and numerous nearby communities throughout 2017.
"As a community, we take pride in the work that we do to bring people of all races, religions, sexual orientation and other backgrounds together, and we will continue to reject those on the fringe who seek to promote hatred and divide us," Molloy added.
