Help Keep Abington Safe By Joining Dog Walk And Watch Program

Police in Abington are inviting community members to join the Dog Walk and Watch program to help keep the township safer.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Abington Township dog owners are invited to join a free class that will help teach them various way to keep their hometown safe.

Police in Abington are hosting a training class for its Dog Walk and Watch program.

The class will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7 at the Abington Public Safety Training Facility.

Attendees will learn to safely observe and report suspicious activities and quality of life issues in your neighborhood while out walking your dog.

An Abington Police officer will lead the class.

Dogs are not permitted at the training class.

The Abington Public Safety Training Facility is located at 2200 Florey Lane in Glenside.
