ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Abington Township has a new animal control officer, a man with 27 years of service for the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

The Abington Township Police Department welcomed new animal control officer Jerrold Czech.

Czech played a pivotal role at the Pennsylvania Game Commission in wildlife management and education. His expertise extends to Pennsylvania game laws, wildlife behavior, and community engagement, making him an exceptional addition to our team, the police department said.

Czech also brings valuable local experience from his tenure as a part-time animal control officer with Cheltenham Township.
