Roads Open After Unspecified Abington Police Activity

ABINGTON, PA — Two Abington Township roads are open after police activity closed them Monday morning.

Abington Police at about 9:30 a.m. said Wharton and Jenkintown roads were closed.

This was due to police activity.

However, the nature of that activity remains unclear as of 2:50 p.m. Monday.

During the closure, there was no threat to the public, police said.
