A burglar tried to rob a Montco home twice in the same day, authorities said.

EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —Horsham Township is going to the birds. And one burglar seemed to love a Fort Washington home that he tried to rob it twice in the same day.

A Montgomery County man has been awarded $78 million in a lawsuit involving an ingredient in Roundup weed killer that caused him to develop blood cancer, according to reports. William Melissen, 51, of Abington Township, filed the product liability lawsuit in 2021 after he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma a year earlier. (Read More)

Man Broke Into Upper Dublin House Twice In Same Day

Police said a man tried to break into the same home twice on Wednesday morning before being caught. The Upper Dublin Township Police Department said that at 3:28 a.m. Wednesday, a man tried to enter a home in the 200 block of Washington Lane in Fort Washington. (Read More)

Hatboro-Horsham Courthouse Moves To New Location

A new courthouse for Hatboro and Horsham Township is now open while an old one is headed for sale. Horsham District Court 38-1-22 —which serves Horsham and Hatboro —has moved to 955 Horsham Rd., Suite 100, in the Babylon Business Park in Horsham. (Read More)

Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes Route 309 In Montco

State Route 309 northbound was closed between Highland Avenue and Susquehanna Road due to a crash involving multiple vehicles early Friday morning, police said. The Upper Township Police Department is asking drivers to please avoid the area and seek an alternate route. (Read More)

Suspects Sought For 3 Burglaries In Cheltenham Twp.

The Cheltenham Township Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two men believed to be involved in three recent burglaries. Police said the burglaries happened at Lynnewood Hall, 920 Spring Ave., since Sept. 22. (Read More)
