ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Stormwater Management construction is planned on state highways starting Monday and lasting all week in Abington Township.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that construction activities are planned this week on state highways in Bucks and Montgomery counties under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists are advised of travel restrictions on Monday, March 18, through Friday, March 22, at the following locations:

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
