Vehicle Fire, Gas Leak Reported In Huntingdon Valley

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA —A vehicle fire was extinguished early Monday morning at Red Lion and Philmont Avenue, fire officials said.

The Huntingdon Valley Fire Company responded at 5:42 a.m. Monday for a vehicle fire at Red Lion and Philmont Avenue.

Crews extinguished the fire and there were no injuries.

Responding on the call were Engines 8 and 11.

Meanwhile, the fire company was dispatched at 10:21 pm Friday for a gas leak at a home on Brookdale Avenue.

Crews checked the property, secured the gas meter, and PECO was dispatched.

Units on scene included Engine 8, Squad 8, Squad 11, Bucks Ladder 1 and Bucks Ladder 2.
