$206 Million Powerball Winning Ticket Sold In PA
A lucky Pennsylvania resident is the owner of the massive jackpot from last night's drawing, Powerball said.
PENNSYLVANIA — The winning ticket in Wednesday night's massive $206.9 million lottery drawing was sold in Pennsylvania, Powerball said.
The winning ticket matched all five white balls correctly: 9, 21, 56, 57, and 66.
It's not yet clear if the winner of the ticket has come forth. Powerball officials did not release any further information on exactly where in the state the ticket was sold.

The winner has the choice to either get 30 payments of $206.9 million spread out over 29 years, or a single lump sum payment of $122.3 million. Both amounts are before taxes.
Still, it doesn't quite match the historic, $1.3 billion Mega Millions winner sold in the Chicago suburbs last week.

Wednesday night's Pennsylvania winner marks the fifth Powerball jackpot won this year. The last jackpot in this game was a June 29 drawing won by a Vermont resident a $366.7 million.
Beyond just the jackpot, more than 589,000 tickets won cash prizes in the Wednesday night drawing, including prizes of more than $1 million, so it's worth double checking tickets.
