Multiple people called Allentown Police beginning at 3 a.m. Saturday, to report an auto accident in the 1600 block of Tilghman Street, according to officials. Other callers reported that a vehicle, described as a tow truck towing a car, "fled the scene after striking approximately seven parked vehicles."

As police were investigating, more calls came in that the tow truck "struck several more parked vehicles" within the 1200 block of Tilghman.

Police stopped a tow truck matching that description "a short distance away," according to Allentown PD. The driver ran away but officers caught and arrested him, police added.

Police said Marlon T.
